Hey guys,

Our last tournament is only a few days away and our last district games are only a week away. It has a been a great year and I loved watching each of the boys develop through the year.

I sent an email yesterday but wanted to make sure everyone gets the info:

Mankato

Many families are staying at the Holiday Inn in Mankato so we will plan the bulk of our activities in this area. If you are planning to arrive on Friday I am sure the boys will be in the pool- If you are not staying at the Holiday Inn text me when you get there and I will get you in the pool (763.607.7798).

Saturday our first game is at 11:45. Please plan to arrive by 10:45. If you ordered shirts I will pick them up when I check in the team. All kids should be ready to take the ice at 11:30 (in case they are running early). Please make sure they have both their jerseys. I only have white jerseys if someone forgets them.

Our next game is not until that evening. Seeing as there is a big gap in the day I am planning a team lunch at the Wow Fun Zone in Mankato. This will allow the boys to have lunch and play some games in the arcade and laser tag as well as just relax if they need it. Coaches are discouraging any swimming at hotels between games- keep those legs fresh.

We will know our Sunday game times on Saturday night. The latest games are around 1 so that means that we will likely get back to the cities just in time for the game.

District Playoffs

The bracket for the district games is up but we won't know our placement until the games are done. However, it is likely we will play 2/17 in the am. And regardless of how they finish we will be done with Districts by the morning of the 25th.

We do need to provide a parent in the penalty box for each district playoff game (no book or board duties though). If you are able, interested, or willing to work the penalty box during any of the games please let me know. If I don't get enough volunteers I will assign down the roster as I have been.

End of the year party

I am planning an end of the year party at Urban Air. This would include 2 hours all access and pizza.

I know there are families going on vacation and some other conflicts so 2/25 may not work. So please find me this weekend and let me know if you prefer a weekend or weeknight and if there are days that will just not work for your kiddo. I will try to find a time that works for everyone (and if not, most).
